Fieldphone TA57 used as public phone outside of HFG in Karlsruhe on GPN16

This russion fieldphone came in service 1950. It was produced in large numbers and used by the Soviet Army and numerous other armed forces. In addition, it was used in disaster control, railroads and mining. One interesting thing about it is that its Power was supplied by a built-in GB-U-1.3 (ГБ-10-У-1.3) lead-acid battery with a nominal voltage of ten volts and a capacity of 1.3 ampere-hours. As we don't have access to those cells we are using a 9V block battery which needs a holder to push it against the contacts.
